Please Read Prior to Joining the Forum Group

Dear All Golden Magi of Sacred Circles’ Coven Members;

Years back when I began Sacred Circles’ Coven, which evolved from two other names prior to the name in which it holds today, we began as seekers and babies awakening into the light of truth. Then when postings were done, much was taken directly from books word for word, which at the time I did not know was illegal and infringed on copyrights of the original authors as well as hindered on sales of their books.

As not only myself, but the site has grown, I have found that when posting any work it is better when it comes from the heart of that individual person, whom is posting such readings. Within the Occult there are many areas of study, some will stick to the easier studies and then there are those that truly seek to understanding the oldest of studies, but yet still there is a need for secrets and Oaths in what we are taught by our ‘Teachers” and that should always be remembered when sharing certain works. Many things in which we are taught we do tend to forget to give credit where credit is due, to those who have taught us, either orally or scholastically. I have been one who has done, so, though not will ill intentions, just from forgetting. That is something we must never forget to do, no matter how small the information, for inasmuch we were taught it from another.

Now, with the new site for the boards, I am enjoying seeing that the members are becoming more involved than in the old location, however, quantity is not as important to me as quality. There are many books out there, both worthy of our time and many more that are not, and are solely based off of one person’s interpretation of another’s work. I have learned many things in my path, but one thing I have learned that is more valuable than anything else is one that nothing has more meaning than one who seeks then writes their own work from what they have studied, another, by being taught by a wonderful teacher is that not everything written is correct. Many times authors will place within their books, spells, chants and magic which is only important to them and when one is not an initiate then one may take that work and in effect it will create chaos and bring imbalance to the Order of Mâat, which is dangerous. When one reads they should do so with a grain of salt and really be willing to seek beyond what the author is writing, truly there are so many books out there today, that many are what I call as Wicca poo poop and those who write them are only out to make a buck and have no real understanding of the truth within the Craft of the Ancients.

Why you may ask I am speaking on this, well it is time and what I would like to not only see become the Golden Magi of Sacred Circles’ Coven, but challenge all those members herein, as well as all the new members is do your own work, truly study and write what you desire to share. If you do find something on the internet that you find of quality get the permission of the author for posting it within our circle, or email it to me and I shall seek permission for the main web site and include in what we offer to all of the pagan community. I no longer want to see works with source information, I want to see work that has a series of references and to see that those who are part of Golden Magi of Sacred Circles’ Coven are true seekers and students of the Greater Occult and not just what is of today’s authors. There is so much more out there and truly, I say if you seek it, it shall come to you in many forms, books that are worthy of your time and money, persons who are wise beyond many others, and more. Seek and you all shall find what is truly within your soul and spirit the truth of the Great Mother Diana.
